A sad sight it is indeed,
when we, who live on this Earth,
attack it viciously with greed,
and use it for all it is worth.

Natural resources we consume,
despite the warnings of the wise,
we rob the flowers of their bloom
and set the path to our demise.

Through his needs man justifies,
but in fact we just mislead,
Because what we need to realize
is that luxury is not a need.

Men wage war on each other
for petty squabbles over ends
We destroy Nature, our Mother
When we should restore amends.

Mankind's ultimate fate is death
as we run for the pot of gold
but we will soon run out of breath
Once all of our hearts are sold.
